I graduated from Leeds Arts University in 2018 after studying Surface Pattern design. I worked in house as a designer for a rug manufacturer for a year and a half, developing trends and new designs for high street accounts.
I now work as a freelance designer (under the name Miriam Flower Studio) licensing and selling designs to be used in fashion, homeware, kidswear and paper products. I create art work through hand painting as well as digitally; my handwriting is diverse and varied which means I am able to create work which is suitable for many different brands. I strive to create work which is commercial but also unique and fresh.
I create surface pattern design in technical repeats ready for print and production, as well as graphics for placement prints. I can also offer support in trend development and analysis.
I am available for freelance, commissions and collaborations; please don't hesitate to contact me with any projects you may have. Follow me on Instagram for my latest news and updates. Explore my personal practice at Miriam Flower.
